Application
ABC cable is a very innovative concept for overhead power
distribution as compared to the conventional bare conductor
overhead distribution system.
It provides higher level of safety and reliability, lower power
losses and ultimate system economy by reducing installation,
maintenance and operative cost.
The aerial Bundled cables designed for overhead distribution lines
have an insulated neutral messenger made of AAAC, which the
insulated aluminium phase conductor are helically wound over it.
Cables are rated at 0.6/1(1.2)kV and conform to IEC60502.
XLPE Aerial Bundled Cables
Low Voltage Aerial Bundled Cable (ABC) is a cheaper, safer, more
reliable cable which requires less tree clearing and pruning and so
be more aesthetic, be less labour intensive, require less
maintenance and eliminate bushfires be initiated by conductor
clashing.
